2 Back orders
All items listed for sale are in stock and available for dispatch. We do not have any products on our website which are not in stock and ready for dispatch so we will never put your order into the status of "Back Order".
3. Security
At Slim & Save Ltd security is our number one priority and as such we invest in the industries most advanced server monitoring and unbiased server reporting. Our dedicated web server is scanned daily by both Verisign and McAffe secure for signs of any spyware, mallware or server vulnerabilities. We also follow and successfully comply with PCI DSS.
All card payments are processed by SagePay which has full PCI DSS compliance and holds the highest level of server security available. At checkout once you have input your personal details you will be transferred to SagePay to make payment and complete your purchase before being returned to our website. At no time does any member of Slim & Save have access to your Credit or Debit Card details nor do we store any card details.
4. Edit your order
If you wish to edit or change your order after it has been placed, simply call us on 01642 762252 we would suggest not using email for order changes as we process orders very quickly throughout the day. If outside of our opening hours send us an email explaining what you wish to change. If your order has already been dispatched, you are not able to modify or change your order. Either way we will confirm and keep you updated.
5. Cancelling your order
If you wish to cancel your order after it has been placed, simply call us on 01642 762252 before we dispatch your order providing us with the relevant details. If your order has already been dispatched, you will not be able to cancel your order. However, you may return the item for a refund providing it has not been opened.
6. Returns
6.1 ~ Our VLCD (Very low calorie diet) products are "Perishable Food Items" and are not covered by the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations act 2000) Because of the nature of food packs we are not able to resell or reuse them in case they have been tampered with. If we have sent you the incorrect flavours error (IE Incorrect Flavours to your request listed in writing on your invoice, no verbal or email communications form part of your order request invoice) Then we will pay to recover the incorrect items as well as replace the incorrect items with the correct items.
6.2 ~ Any goods returned without our authorisation will not be processed nor returned to you (unless you pay the postage).
6.3 ~ We do not offer an exchange of unwanted flavours due to Health & Safety Regulations, therefore we recommend that you buy our VLCD Taster Pack to get one of each flavour for sampling before purchasing in bulk.
6.4 ~ To request a return for a refund of non VLCD products please contact customer services here We will issue refunds within 2 days of receiving the returned goods.
6.5 ~ We will cover the cost of postage if we send you the wrong items.
6.6 ~ This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Coupon redemption
If you have a coupon, you can redeem it at the checkout. Simply enter the coupon code and continue with the payment process. You will see the coupon deducted from your total amount.
8. Health & Medical Disclaimer
Slim & Save Ltd require customers to check the suitability of a VLCD Programme with their Doctor prior to ordering from our website. By placing an order you are confirming that you have checked the suitability of the programme and you are in good health and approved by your Doctor to follow such a programme. Recommendations on this website or in personal consultation by phone, email, in-person, or otherwise, is at the customer's discretion and sole risk. The information offered is intended for people in good health. Anyone with medical problems of any nature should see a doctor before starting a diet or exercise program. Even if you have no known health problems, it is advisable to consult your doctor/s before making major changes in your lifestyle.
Staff at Slim & Save Ltd are not doctors. The advice we give is based on over 15 years of practical application, dealing with the needs of our own health and physiques as well as the needs of others. Any recommendations we may make to you regarding diet, including, supplements and herbal or nutritional treatments must be discussed between you and your doctor/s.
9. Delivery Policy
All orders received before 4:30pm Monday through to Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 4:30pm are dispatched the next working day. Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days even though we actually work on a Sunday we are not able to dispatch your order until Monday, so if you place your order after 4:30pm on a Friday it will not be dispatched until the Monday.
We send parcels by Interlink, Royal Mail, DPD or UPS depending on where you live and the options you choose at checkout. We never make a profit on postage, all postage costs are always rounded down and in some cases heavily discounted to what they actually cost us. We could offer free postage but then we would only be hiding the cost of the delivery in with our product and as our product is zero rated for VAT and the delivery is not we find it more suitable to keep the delivery price visible.
10. VAT (Value Added Tax)
Our website is Business to Consumer, and as such we choose not to display VAT as a separate entity on our website. If you are buying for a business and have reason to reclaim the cost of any VAT you can contact us for a VAT receipt. We will require your valid VAT Registration number.
Please note that VAT is 20% on Bars, Wafers, Shaker Cups and Vitamins all of our meal replacement shakes, soups and meals are zero rated for VAT. Any product that is vatable is displayed as the vat inclusive price on our website.
